We may have only just returned to work after the long Easter weekend, but it is not long before we get to enjoy another Bank Holiday. So if you’re already gearing up for the break, here are some activities you might like to try.

  • High Ropes

You don’t have to be particularly fit or adventurous to try high ropes, as they are a great outdoor activity for all ages. Children will love the treetop expedition, while adults will, no doubt, find themselves laughing all day long as they swing on tyres, wobble over rope bridges, and clamber up webs.

  • Spring fayres

The May Bank Holiday weekends are awash with spring fayres, offering Brits the chance to head outdoors, listen to live music, grab a bite to eat and even nab a bargain. Whether you head to a car boot sale or a country fete, you are bound to find something in your local area that you will enjoy.

If the weather is as good as it was over the Easter weekend, this could be a great opportunity to have a day out enjoying a fun, relaxed atmosphere.

  • Watersports

Despite the sunshine having disappeared for a few days, most of us are hoping it will resurface in time for next weekend. In this case, there is no better activity to help you cool down than watersports.

Beginners can try something slow and gentle like canoeing, while those who like a bit of adrenaline may prefer windsurfing or sailing.
