Restrictions

We welcome all participants however you must be:

– Over 6 years old
– Over 1.4m (4ft7)
– Under 19 stone

Our course takes around 2 hours to complete so please bare this in mind.

Considerations

Please take these things into consideration before you book:

– Our course takes around 2 hours to complete.
– You may get a little muddy & dirty so please dress appropriately.
– Please arrive 15 minutes before your start time for kit up.

Special Events

We have a range of special events throughout the year from themed days for Easter to special discount days for the NHS and Armed Forces. Check below for the different themes throughout the year and then click through to our booking system to check availability & book your slot.

Valentines Day:

What better way to have a Valentine’s day to remember than taking on the treetops with your loved one? Receive a rose at the beginning of the course to take around with you and don’t forget to collect your mini box of chocolates after you have conquered the trees.

Mothers Day:

If you and mum fancy something a bit different this year then our treetops course is for you! On completion of the course, mum will receive a special certificate and flower to remember the day.

Easter Egg Hunt:

An easter challenge with a twist! Our Easter challenge sees participants carrying an egg around the course and conquering the treetops without smashing it! Participants will be asked to choose where they will store their egg out of a lucky dip pot before they start the course and if they succeed will be given the best kind of egg (the chocolate kind) before they leave!

Superhero Sunday – 2nd May & 4th July 2021:

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No! It’s a superhero!

For something different on a Sunday why not get your best superhero costume out and join us in the trees?! Each participant dressed as a superhero will receive a certificate explaining how they defeated the treetops!

Fathers Day – 21st June 2021:

If you and your dad fancy something a bit different this year then our treetops course is for you! On completion of the course, Dad will receive a special certificate and gift to remember the day.

Armed Forces Day – 27th June 2021:

Come and join us for our Armed Forces day where you will receive 20% off the ticket price as a thank you!

Emergency Services Day – 9th September 2021:

Come and join us for our Emergency Services day where you will receive 20% off the ticket price as a thank you!

Halloween – 30th & 31st October 2021:

If taking on our treetops in daylight is not for you, or you have already conquered the trees by day and want to challenge yourself at night then our Halloween Spooktacular is for you!  For only 2 nights you have the chance to take on the challenges and obstacles with the added horror of a ghoul or two!

There is a dedicated children’s session each day at 5 pm and an adults session at 7 pm – please ensure you book onto the correct session!

FAQ’s

How can I book?

You can book by going through to our new booking system on the following link: Book Treetops.

Do you offer group discounts?

If you would like further information or are interested in a Corporate Event, Birthday Party, Stag or Hen Party, School or Youth Group booking) please contact the sales office on 01782 722 226.

What should I wear?

We recommend you wear clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty, but also allows free movement. You need to make sure you wear closed toe footwear that fits securely, no sandals. Please ensure you dress for the weather so bring a spare coat or jumper!

What happens in bad/severe weather?

Trentham Treetop Adventures remains open in all weathers, except when in high winds, storms or during lighting. An assessment of the weather will be made and closure is at the manager’s discretion. Depending on the weather, the course may be muddier than usual so don’t forget to dress appropriately!

Are there height/weight restrictions?

Minimum age – 6 years old. Minimum height – 1.4m / 4ft 7.

Maximum weight – 19 stone (120kg).

Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult (18+). The supervising adult must remain on site but does not have to participate in the course.

Do I need previous experience?

No previous experience is required. The Treetop Course does require a degree of fitness but as long as you can climb a ladder you should be fine!

Can I participate if I'm pregnant?

We strongly recommend pregnant women do not take part on the treetop course, however, ultimately the choice is left with the participant. We suggest participants seek medical advice from their doctor before making a decision. If you decide to take part in the course, then you will need to declare that you are pregnant on your consent form before participating.

Can I bring a camera?

Phones and cameras are permitted on site, however they must be attached to the participant at all times.

Can spectators watch?

We welcome spectators to watch participants from the forest floor.

When do I need to arrive?

Please arrive at the Treetop Cabin 15 minutes before your start time so instructors can check your electronic consent forms that are completed upon arrival and get you kitted up.

Is there free parking?

Free parking is available at the site.

Are there changing facilities/toilets?

We have no toilets on site, however public toilets are within walking distance of the site. Unfortunately, there are no changing facilities.

What is the height of the course?

The highest point on the course is the fan drop which is 13 metres.
